This Super Collection is quite possibly the only legit way to purchase The Sims 2 at all. I cant get any cc or mods into my game now. This craziness started happening after I used the testingcheatsenabled true cheat and restarted my neighborhoods. The Sims 2 & 3 are 64-bit on Mac, which means they work on Catalina and macOS 11. When I open up the game, it says the game is illegal and closes on itself. Sims games that are not The Sims 4, and at least TWO of them better than that game with all the content that they have and The Sims 4 doesn't. However, The Ultimate Collection was Windows only, while this is Mac only and The Ultimate Collection is no longer available for purchase at any price. I bought The Sims 2 Super Collection from the App Store on my mac computer and its not working. The Mac App store has the collection listed for 29.99. Instead, you have to purchase it via the Mac App store. It's not available through Origin, like the PC counterpart The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection. If you run the game on a Mac below the system requirements, you will experience severe performance issues and crashing. I am well aware that Origin offered The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection for free last July. This is a complete collection of all the available Sims 2 games (base game, expansions and stuff packs) for Mac. Note this does not include FreeTime, Apartment Life, Celebration! Stuff, H&M Fashion Stuff,Teen Style Stuff, Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff, IKEA Home Stuff and Mansion & Garden Stuff which did not receive mac versions. The Sims 2: Super Collection is a new compilation released in 2014 designed to run on modern Macs, Adding support for Retina graphics and trackpad gestures.
